Ingredients
20 oz cold, salted butter 2 ½ cups superfine sugar 5 cups flour 2 eggs, beaten
Directions
Put the flour and sugar in a bowl add the butter on top. Cut in the butter, mixing it through the other ingredients.
Add ¾ of the eggs and mix until you get a crumbly dough.
Put the dough onto a baking tray and push it together until you get a layer about ½” thick. Cover the dough with the remaining eggs, smearing it out evenly with a spoon.
Bake at 385° F for about 25 minutes
