Ingredients
Directions
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil1/4 cup Granulated Sugar (or Brown Sugar)1/2 cup popcorn kernals
Place oil in a large soup pan (kettle) with three kernels of unpopped popcorn, heat, and cover. When the kernels have popped, the oil is ready!
Mix the sugar and the rest of the popcorn kernels into the oil and cover. Shake the pot consistently to keep already-popped kernels from burning.
When kernels start popping more slowly (about three seconds apart), remove the pan from the heat and keep shaking a bit until it's calmed down completely.
Let cool a bit and serve.
Serving Size: Makes 5 2-cup servings.
