This was a great compote recipe! I never thought to add orange juice. I changed it a little based on what I had and added a heaping scoop of orange juice concentrate and cut the sugar down to 1/4 cup and added a 1/4 cup of Splenda. I served it over Oven-Puffed Pancakes. It was delicious! - 6/28/09

This sauce is amazing! I added a bit of balsamic vinegar as well to deepen the flavour. A really great condiment to dress up plain yogurt or on pancakes. - 2/23/12

A very easy and pretty sauce. The orange flavor was a bit too strong for my out-of-season berries. I would cut the OJ in half next time. The serving size is very generous for a topping--I used about a third the amount to put on top of my French toast. Yum! - 1/16/11
