Homemade Buttermilk Syrup

Ingredients
1 1/2 c. sugar3/4 c. buttermilk1/2 c. butter2 Tbsp. corn syrup1 tsp. baking soda
Directions
boil in large pan for 7 minutes over medium heat. remove from heat and add 2 tsp. vanilla.

Makes about 1 quart. you can double or triple the recipe, just make sure you have a large pot because it boils up very high.

Store leftovers in the fridge.
