Ingredients
This soup is delish!! Very hearty and healthy. Great to make and store in the freezer. You can use whatever noodles you have on hand and can make it with less noodles than this if you want less carbs.Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 0.25 cupCanned Tomatoes, 1 can Ground beef, lean, 12 oz Water, tap, 96 fl oz Dry Lentils, 0.50 cup Dry Split Peas, 0.50 cupPearl Barley, 0.25 cupBrown Rice, long grain, 0.25 cup Macaroni, dry, enriched, 0.50 cup elbow shaped Macaroni, dry, enriched, 0.50 cup small shells Dried Onion, 4 tbspItalian Seasoning, 2 tsp
Directions
Set aside noodles for later.

In large pot or saute pan, brown beef & drain.

Add water, tomatoes with juice, lentils, barley, peas, beef bouillon, onion, italian seasoning, and brown rice (all ingredients except the dry noodles) and bring to boil.

Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 45 minutes.

Add the reserved noodles and cover.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings. Each serving is 1 cup broth + 1 cup drained ingredients
