3/4 c. canola oil1 c. brown sugar3 tbsp molasses2 eggs1/2 c. skim milk1 c. oat bran1/2 c. whole wheat flour3/4 c. white flour1/4 c. flax seeds3/4 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp ground ginger1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp ground cloves2 c. oats1/2 c. raisins1/4 c. snipped, dried dates1/4 c. snipped, dried apricots
Combine wet ingredients in a large bowl. Add oat bran and stir until moistened. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients, except for fruit. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold in fruit.
Using a 1/4 c. measure (or a 1/3 c. measure for larger cookies), divide batter onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes, or until tops are firm.
