Crockpot 15 Bean Stew

Ingredients
1 lb lean turkey italian sausage3 oz of finely chopped salt pork, rind removed1 bag of Hurst's HamBeen's 15 Bean soup or other dry multi bean soup28 oz can of diced tomatoes4 Knorr Vegetable Bouillon Cubes5 carrots sliced6 stalks of celery sliced1 onion finely chopped3 tbsp soy sauce (Kikkoman's Low Sodium)fill with water to about 1/2-1" from rim of crockpot
Directions
**6 quart crockpot required unless ingredients are quanity is reduced**

Brown crumbled sausage and salt pork in pan. Add soy sauce. Put to the side. I will chop up vegetables at this time and put all these items in the same container, in the fridge for the next morning.

Soak Beans in Crockpot over night.

Next day, drain beans and add water and remaining ingredients in Crockpot. Low Heat setting - 8 hours. . Best if lid can be partially removed or vented 1/2 way through cooking to allow to thicken even more.
