Chocolate Lava Cake from scratch (6 serv.)

1 cup flour1/4 tsp. salt2 tsp. baking powder3/4 cup granulated sugar2 Tbsp baking cocoa, divided use1/4 cup baking cocoa, divided use3 Tbsp melted butter1/2 cup skim milk1 tsp. vanilla1/2 cup packed brown sugar1 3/4 cups hot water (purified)1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Blend flour, salt, baking powder, sugar and 2 Tbsp
cocoa powder in mixing bowl.
3. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
4. Spread batter in a 9x9 inch baking pan and sprinkle
brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
5. Pour hot water over all.
6. Bake 40 min. or until top is dry.
7. During baking, chocolate sauce will settle to bottom
and cake will rise to top.
8. Cool 10 min.
9. You may invert cake onto plate. Spoon sauce over
top. You may serve with ice cream if desired.
