Peruvian Cilantro Rice

Cilantro, raw, 1 bunchWater, tap, .5 cupCanola Oil, 1 tbspGarlic, 3 tspCarrots, raw, 1 cup, choppedPeas, frozen, 0.5 cup*Cumin seed, 1 tbspSalt, 1 tspPepper, black, 1 tbspWhite Rice, long grain, 1 cupChicken stock, home-prepared, 2 cup
Puree cilantro and water in blender.
Heat oil in pan. Add garlic & brown. Add 2 cups chicken stock, cilantro puree, carrots, peas cumin, rice, salt & pepper. Bring to a simmer, cover & cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
