1/3 c bread crumbs8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast cut into nugget sized pieces2 T Tabasco Sauce1 t onion powder1 t garlic powder1 t Cayenne Pepper1 t Black Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place bread crumbs in a pie pan. Add seasonings and mix well. Place chicken pieces in a separate dish, and cover and toss with hot sauce. made these tonight for dinner...i used franks red hot instead of tabasco, panko instead of breadrcrumbs and did half with bbq sauce for my mom and bro who don't like hot sauce. they were soo good! i had mine over a salad with some ff blue cheese and it really hit the spot! - 1/31/09

This recipe was excellent, but I found I needed more than 22 grams of bread crumbs to cover the chicken. I needed about 70 grams to cover 8 ounces of chicken. This raised the calorie content a bit, but it was still within my acceptable range and tasted amazing. - 6/30/09

YUMMY! Put these on a bed of lettuce with non-fat blue cheese dressing for a buffalo chicken salad. Served with celery sticks. Both my husband and I loved it! - 3/12/09

STELLAR! I used a little more garlic and onion powder and a little less cayenne pepper for this. They were not only delicious, they LOOKED yummy too! Honestly these taste like restaurant quality chicken strips, and I love how healthy they are! Thanks so much! - 7/23/08

Made these tonight, and served on a huge bed of shredded lettuce with ranch dressing. YUM, totally satisfied my wing craving. Of course, I HAD to use Frank's Red Hot for superb flavor. Thanks!! - 2/2/10

I cheated & used a hot wing marinade for the chicken & then breaded them. I had to bake them longer than 10 minutes on both sides to try and get them to crisp up (& ultimately mine didn't turn out crisp) but none the less, they were still incredible. - 11/12/08

This made for a very good meal - fairly quick to put together and quite tasty. The only thing I would change is the portion size - even if it's doubled it's still only ~260 calories, which is decent for a main dish.

Thanks for the great Sunday dinner! - 3/2/09

/my husband & I loved this recipe. It was a lot more spicey than I expected it would be. But, I love spicey, so that's good. It totally satisfied my craving for wings without the mess & guilt!!! This will definitely become a game day staple in our house. - 2/13/09

This recipe is fantastic! I tried panko crumbs (thanks Evewow!) and they turned out really great--they were gone with our group in a matter of minutes. - 2/1/09

Very good! I only used about 1/4 tsp. of the cayenne, and they were still VERY hot. Tasted great with a little bit of lite blue cheese dressing on the side. - 8/4/08

Yumo! My 17 year old and his friends request pizza or hot wings whenever they get together. They love these and I know what the ingredients are. Plus they are shocked that I don't just order or open a bag. Fantastic! - 7/22/08

This is awesome!!! We love hot wings and I had been craving them. This was so good, it's hard to believe it is healthy. I like mine extra spicy, so I let the chicken soak in the hot sauce in the refridgerator for a few hours. I served it with a homemade low-fat blue cheese dressing. Delicious - 7/21/08

It was great, but a little hot with the tobasco and 1 tsp cayanne pepper, which is unusual b/c I really like HOT wings. Next time I would use more garlic or onion powder and less caynne. - 7/15/08

awesome. I had it for lunch and dinner today. It's good with hot paprika instead of cayenne, and texas pete instead of tabasco. YUMMY! - 7/12/08

I used panko instead of the usual breadcrumbs which worked nicely for a crispy effect. Nice recipe. - 7/11/08

I use chicken tenders, and marinate them in the hotsauce; then saute them up in olive oil sprayed pan, and serve with a low fat homeade blue cheese dressing; no crumbs at all; my boys love em. - 7/10/08

I would make it again. But they do get very HOT! I will make it milder next time! - 7/10/08
