Simple Chocolate Puddle Cake

1 1/2 c. flour3 T cocoa1/2 tsp. salt1 c. brown sugar, packed1 tsp. baking soda6 T canola oil1 tsp. vanilla1 T white vinegar1 cup cold water
Combine dry ingredients and sift into an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2" pan. Make an indentation in the middle of the dry mixture and then make a puddle in the center by adding the oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Pour the cold water over the top and stir the puddle just until smooth.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Cool and cut into 9 square servings. Serve warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers, if you have any.
