1 c. plain flour1/4 c. sugar4 t. baking powder3/4 t. salt1 c. corn meal1 egg1 c. milk1/4 c. cooking oil1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease muffin cups. Sift all the dry ingredients together. Gently stir together all the wet ingredients. Add to blend dry and wet. Pour into tins. Let rise five min. before putting into oven for 20-30 min.
