3 cups chopped green cabbage5 cups diced raw potatoes1 cup chicken broth2 stewed chicken thighs, bones and skin removed2 stewed chicken legs, bones and skin removed.5 stewed chicken breast, bones and skin removed1 red bell pepper4 raw carrots1/2 onion1.75 cups cooked brown rice (long grain)1 tbsp sea salt1 tsp black pepper4 cloves garlic, crushed2 springs rosemary1 branch fresh basil8 cups water
First, puree the carrot, pepper, onion, rosemary, garlic, and basil in the chicken broth. Next, toss the veggies, chicken, puree, salt, pepper, and water into a stock pot. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 40 minutes. Add rice and let simmer 20 minutes more. Enjoy!
