Ingredients
2 pds of lean ground beef1 lrg onion large diced1 - heaping Tbsn crushed garlic1 - 15oz can kidney beans1 - 29oz crushed tomatos2 cups of water4-5 Tbsn of chili powder to taste3 quart pan
Directions
brown beef ; remove meat from pan
using same pan saute onions and garlic
return beef to pan
add remaining ingredients and stir throughly
bring to boil
reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes ;
stirring occasionaly
makes 8 - 10 cups
