Homemade Maple Syrup

Ingredients
1 C sugar (white)1/2 C water1/4 C corn syrup (optional)1 tsp imitation maple flavor
Directions
Mix sugar and water in a pan on the stove on medium-high/high heat. Mix continuously. Remove right before it comes to a roiling boil. Add corn syrup for thickness.

Remove from heat and add maple flavoring. Mix. Let cool. And serve.
