Bison Ragu

Ingredients
1 medium onion1 large carrot2 medium stalks celery2 cloves garlic1/4 olive oil1 tsp basil1 tsp oreganosalt and pepper to taste1 pound ground bison1 28 oz. can tomatoes
Directions
Roughly chop vegetables, then process in food process until finely chopped.

Heat olive oil in saucepan, then add chopped vegetables. Cook until softened. Add bison, cook until browned. Meanwhile chop tomatoes in food processor. Add tomatoes and seasonings to saucepan, and cook over high heat until reduced to desired consistency.
