Tap water, 4 quartsCabbage, fresh, 1 head, large (about 7" dia)Carrots, raw, 6 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long)*Summer Squash, 2 largeBeef, top sirloin, 16 ozGarlic powder, 1 tbsp*Onion powder, 1 tbspSalt, 1 tspPepper, black, 1 tbsp*Extra Light Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Makes 6-8 bowls of soup.
Bring water to a boil in a 4 quart stew pot.
Add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, extra light olive oil. Rinse all veggies, coursely chop, and add them to pot.
Add beef stew meat.
Boil for 1 hour.
Simmer for 3 hours.
Add lemon juice to add extra flavor. Serve warm with corn tortillas.
