Jen's Veggie Tempeh Chilli

1package TJ's 3 Grain Tempeh (8 oz)1can pinto beans (15.5 oz)1/2 onion, chopped2 stalks celery, chopped1 cup broccoli, chopped1 small can tomato paste, or fresh tomatoes1 T thyme1 T crushed red pepper1 t black pepperother seasoning to taste
1. Chop the tempeh, onions, celery, and broccoli.
2. Sautee in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the pinto beans.
4. Mix the tomato paste and water in a bowl the consistency is fairly thin. You may need to use less or more water to get the consistency you want.
5. Add the tomato mixture to the skillet and heat thoroughly.
6. Add the spices to taste. You may also want to add black pepper.
Serving Size: 6 servings (1 cup)
