Bread Machine Soft Pretzels

Ingredients
2 c. bread flour1 1/2 t. yeast1/4 t. salt1/2 t. sugar7/8 c. water2 T coarse salt1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions
Add all the ingredients to the bread machine, with liquids first.

Set bread machine on the dough setting.

When the dough is finished, split it into 10 pieces and roll out into long pieces. Make the dough into whatever shapes that you want.

Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with the coarse salt.

Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.

    This is a great recipe. The kids LOVED helping to make the pretzels and eating them. FYI: My bread machine's dough cycle takes 1:30 minutes - so the 30 minutes to prepare and cook turned into 2 hours. - 6/27/08
