Christina's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter (room temp)1 cup white sugar1 cup brown sugar2 eggs1tbsp vanilla extract1 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda2 cups flour3 cups quick oats1 12oz package milk chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix butter and both sugars together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Add salt and baking soda and mix again. Add flour carefully and mix. Add oatmeal 1 cup at a time and mix. Add chocolate chips and mix only until just incorporated. Cover cookies sheets with parchment paper and spoon on approx. walnut size balls (12 to a sheet). Bake for 8-10 minutes, watching carefully so that they do not burn the bottoms.
