Red Beans and Rice with Turkey Sausage

Ingredients
2 Tbsp flour1/4 cup oil1 large onion, chopped1/4 cup chopped green onions2 cloves garlic, finely chopped1 large bell pepper, sliced1/2 packet of onion soup mix2 cups water2 cans dark red kidney beans1 &1/2 pounds smoked turkey sausage, sliced
Directions
In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, brown the flour in the oil to make a roux. Add onions, garlic and bell pepper. Saute until tender. Add soup mix, 2 cups water, beans and sausage. Stir and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
