Ingredients
1 oz almonds1 oz pecans
1/2 banana
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1 T ground flax1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk, plus more to taste
Directions
I slice and freeze my banana the night before. Pulse first 5 ingredients in a food processor or blender until desired consistency is reached. Depending on your preference, the hot cereal can be smooth or chunky. Transfer to a microwave safe bowl and add flax and milk. Warm the cereal in the microwave until hot, stirring often. This takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Add fresh berries and more almond or coconut milk to taste.
