Vegetable oil - 1-1.5 tbspButton mushrooms, chopped coarsely - 3 cups3 medium/large tomatoes - blended1 large red onion blended1.5 tbsp garlic paste1 tbsp ginger pastelow fat yogurt - 1/3 rd cupCumin seeds-1 tsp2-3 dried red chillesCumin powder - 1 tspcoriander powder - 1.5 tspturmeric - 1/4 tspred chilli powder - 1 tspCrushed Kasoori Methi - 2 tbspGaram Masala - 1 tspCoriander leaves chopped for garnish
Heat oil in a large pan
add cumin seeds. let them splutter.
add dried red chillies and kasoori methi. saute 2 min.
add ginger garlic paste, saute 2 min
add blended onions, sprinkle some salt and let it cook with lid closed until oil separates.
add blended tomatoes, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin and coriander powder, mix well, cover and cook till tomatoes completely cook and oil separates, stirring in between.
Add yogurt, adjust spices and salt, mix well and add mushrooms,
Add 1 cup water, mix, cover and let it cook for 15-20 min, stirring in between.
Garnish with cilantro and serve.
