Lentil Soup

Ingredients
1 onion (chopped small)2 carrots (peels, cut into rounds)1 celery stalk (cut small)4 cups vegetable broth1 cup of lentils (not cooked)1/4 tsp thyme1/4 tsp peppersalt to taste1 bay leaf1 tbs lemon juice
Directions
cut the onion, carrot, and celery.
Put broth in pot
add onion, carrot, celery, lentils, spices, bay leaf
heat to boil, turn down, put on lid, simmer for 45 min or medium/low
remove bayleaf, add lemon juice, serve!
