Granola (Tammy Hamilton)

Ingredients
6 c. oats1/2 c. sugar3/4 c. ground flax seed1/2 c. coconut1/2 c. sunflower seeds (raw)1 c. chopped nuts1/2 c. canola oil1/3 c. maple syrup1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Lay oats out on two large rimmed pans and bake for 10 mins to toast them. When hot and browning take them out of the oven and place in a large bowl, mix in sugar and stir to coat. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Place back onto pans and bake for 10-15 mins stirring occasionally. Cool on pans on wire racks until room temp. Then store in an air tight container in the cupboard.
