cranberry crockpot oatmeal

8 c. water 2 T vanilla extract2 c. steel cut oats2- 3 cups fresh cranberries, washed(chopped or leave whole)1/4 splenda if you want to sweeten.1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Wash cranberres (chop if desired).Place water, splenda, vanilla, and cranberries in crockpot, and simmer on high for 2 hours. Add oats and simmer on low for 30 min. Turn off, allow to cool and place in freezer containers or serve to your family immediately.
