2slices of low sodium bacon..about 190mg sodium for 2 sl.1 stalk of celery diced1 shallot diced1 t thyme1 clove garlic diced1 cup unsalted chicken broth1 cup water1/4 t red pepper flakes1/2 t paprika1/2 t perfect pinch savory* all -purpose seasoning ( mcCormick)1 cup diced zucchini2 carrots sliced1 cup diced potatoes1 cup corn1 cup cream or half/half2 T cornstarch2 T of water1 cooked chicken breast diced
saute low sodium bac. untill crisp, bottom of pan is golden brown. add celery ,garlic and shallots to pan saute, add thyme. add a couple of splashes of stock to pan to loosen up bottom of pan. add broth and water to pan stir. add pepper flakes, paprika, savory* stir .add carrots , potatoes,corn zucchni chicken breast
.bring to boil reduce and simmer for 30 min or until potatoes.are done.stir in cream ,simmer to hot. to thicken. stir 2T cornstarch with 2 T of water stir into broth simmer 1 to 2 min.
