Sesame honey garlic chicken

1 tbsp plus 2 tsp sesame oil1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce2 tbsp balsamic vinegar3 tbsp honey2 tsp garlic powderpinch of red pepper flakes6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves chopped into bite sized pieces2 cups chopped onion1 cup chopped carrot1 medium red bell pepper1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
1. Prepare marinade by mixing 1 tbsp sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder and red pepper flakes in small saucepan. Heat just to blend flavors and allow to cool before covering chicken with mixture. Marinate in fridge for at least a couple hours.
2. Stir fry onion and carrot in 2 tsp sesame oil until almost cooked. Add chopped red bell pepper and cook a few more minutes.
3. Add chicken and marinade and cook until chicken is cooked through. Add cornstarch and water mixture to thicken.
