KP's Chili (lean beef)

Ingredients

1.25 lbs lean ground beef1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles2 can diced tomatoes (petite diced)1 can black beans (rinse and drain well)1 can chili beanschili seasoning (do the packet or make up your own combo of cumin, chili powder, cayenne, black pepper and salt, garlic powder, etc). season however you want
Chop up onion into whatever size you prefer.
Brown ground beef in a pan.
Drain and rinse black beans.
While beef is browning, add all other ingredients except onion to a seperate large pot.
when beef is browned, drain it and add to pot with everything else.
Add whatever seasonings you like (packet chili seasoning or your own blend)
Saute the onion in the beef pan; add to pot when done.
bring to a boil and then reduce and let simmer (covered) for at least 30 minutes (better the longer you let it cook down).
