Slow Cooker Pepper Steak Tri tip

Ingredients
1 tsp Canola oil1.5-3 lbs Tri Tip or other roast slicedGarlic powder, salt and pepper2-3 Yellow onions2-4 Red Bell peppers or a mix of colors1/4-1/2 cup hot water 1-2 beef bouillon cube or 1 tsp beef base1-2 tsp cornstarch3-6 tbsp soy sauce1-2 tsp sugar1-2 cans tomatoes, ready cut or stewed
Directions
- Slice beef into strips, sprinkle with salt and pepper and alot of garlic powder. Brown in oil, and put into slow cooker.
- While beef is browning, mix water, bouillon, cornstarch. Then add soy sauce and sugar.
- Slice onion into larger slices, and caramelize them the residual oil left in the pan, or just put them in raw.
- Put large slices of bell pepper in slow cooker
- pour soy sauce mixture over all,
- add tomatoes undrained or partially drained
- mix around a little
- high 2-5 hours, low 8-10
