homemade maple syrup

Ingredients
1 c sugar1 c brown sugar1 c water1 tsp maple extract
Directions
add sugars and water and bring to a boil. turn heat down so will not boil over, and boil for 2-3 minutes until all sugar is dissolved. add maple flavoring. 2 tbsp is 1 serving

    i made it but it was toooo thin so i put 1 1/2 c of corn syrup and it made it between thin and thick. - 1/25/09
