Ingredients
Beef, bottom round, 1 lb (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Stewed Tomatoes, 2 cup (remove)Beans, red kidney, 1.5 cup (remove)Chili powder, 1 tbsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)*Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)Tomato Paste, 0.5 cup (remove)Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
Directions
Brown meat with onion, when almost done add spices and brown to create a nice fond (brown stuff on the bottom of the pan). Deglaze with tomatoes, then add water and beans. Cook for 35 minutes on stovetop or 8 hours in crock pot
