Beef Lentil Curry

* Beef, top sirloin, 1/2 lb * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped * Garlic, 6 cloves mashed * Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped * Olive Oil, 1 tbsp * Curry powder, 2 tbsp * Red Curry paste, 2 tbsp * Coconut Milk, 13.5 can * Red Lentils or Yellow Split Peas, 1.5 cup * Lime Juice, 1/5 cup * Peas, frozen, 0.5 cup
Soak lentils or peas in 4 cups of water for several hours in a slow cooker, heat off.
Cut beef into chunks and season with curry powder and paste, garlic, salt & pepper and onions.
Heat oil in pan and braise beef mixture for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut milk and red peppers. Mix well. Add to cooker and cook for 8 hours on low. 1/2 hour before eating, add green peas.
