Ingredients
2 slices bacon, or 1/1-2 cup ham1/2 c. sofrito (onion, pepper, garlic, sazon,)15 oz. can gandules (pigeon peas)1/2 c. tom sc.3 cups water3 cups rice
Directions
sautee, bacon, onions, pepper, garlic.
add pigeon peas, tom. sc. rice and water. bring to a boil cook on med, heat to evaporate to a bubble. cover lower heat to med. low and cook 25 to 30 min. stiring once after 15 min.
