Crockpot Apple Bulgur/Flax Cereal

Ingredients
3/4 cup of bulgur wheat1/4 cup of flaxseed meal1 cup of unsweetened applesauce2 cups of water2 tablespoons of honey2 tablespoons of butter
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish. Add 3 cups of water to the crockpot and then set the casserole dish inside of the crockpot and cover (cooking in the casserole inside the crockpot prevents the cereal from getting a film over it or baking to the side). Set on low for 6-8 hours.

Depending on preferences you can add dried fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, etc. I added Cinnamon and a pinch of salt to mine.
