1 cup sugar + some for rolling the cookies in after3/4 cup margarine 1 beaten egg6 Tbs molasses2 tsb ginger1 tsb cinnamon1 tsb allspice2 1/2 tsb baking soda2 cups four
Cream the sugar and margarine. Add the egg and molasses. Sift together the spices, flour and sode and add to the wet in thirds. Mix until combined. Chill while oven is preheating.
Preheat oven to 375 C and roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 mins.,
