Awesome cake...This cake is sooo simple and Yummy!!! All you do is put dry cake mix in large mixing bowl, add a full can of any soda and stir. Add to cake pan and bake as directed on cake mix box...Enjoy!!! Makes the most moist cake every!!! this recipe does not work well for cupcakes or cake that will be decorated. It is very moist and does not stand up well to decoration. Eat a piece of this cake w/ no frosting for a great dessert!!! Enjoy

Made this today with white cake and diet coke. Came out great, my son then made with strawberry mix and diet coke. New house staple. Thanks for sharing. - 5/16/10

This recipe was absolutely amazing! I used spice cake and diet cherry pepsi and didn't chage a thing. - 3/1/10

I used coke zero and fudge cake. The cake just has an off taste. I would recommend pumpkin puree instead of the soda as a tastier and healthier alternative. Will not make again nor would I recommend. - 6/11/08

I've never made this, but I've added soda to cake mix in place of water. It is always very good, and everyone loves it. I neverwould have thought to leave out all other ingredients. I will try this next time I bake a cake. My fave is red velvet with Dr. Pepper. - 2/12/08

sounds interesting and 0 g cholesterol is tempting but the sodium content is just too high for me. I might let the kids give it a try though - not much mess to clean up :) - 12/24/10

Sounds good but it would be healthier to use water. - 5/17/08
