Dark JaMocha Brownies

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour1/3 cup Splenda1/2 cup baking cocoa1 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt1 cup strong coffee1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar1 tsp. vanilla1 oz. or 60 semi-sweet chocolate chips2 Tbsp. ground flax seed (optional)
Directions
Mix dry ingredients, except for chocolate, in a medium size bowl and set aside. Combine liquid ingredients with a fork and stir into dry ingredients until well mixed. Pour batter into a quiche pan/pie plate, that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean and edges pull away from sides a bit. Do not overbake. Allow to cool a bit and cut into wedges. Lovely with raspberries and/or fat free cool whip. Makes 16 wedges.
