Broccoli soup low calorie

Ingredients
4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen2 cups vegetable stock. Homemade or store bought1 tablespoon of corn starch to thicken1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to taste1/4 teaspoon of onion powder1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin1 large onion peeled and chopped1 whole bunch of fresh garlic2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
Peel and chop onion and garlic. Sautéed in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add vegetable stock and broccoli. Cook 20 to 25 minutes until broccoli is tender. Add pepper, ground cumin, onion powder, and garlic powder to pot. Take some of the stock and mix with the corn starch. Add the corn starch mixture back to pot. Take off heat.
Put in blender. Separate into 4 8 ounce servings.
