1 pounds lean ground beef3 1/2 cups water15 ounce can tomato sauce1 cup chopped onion1 teaspoon minched garlic1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dried oregano, ground or crushed1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed1/4 teaspoon pepper6 ounce package whole wheat spaghetti4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
Makes 4 - 6
Brown meat, onions, and garlic in a 3 quart saucepan. Drain fat.
Stir in water, tomato sauce, salt, oregano, worcestershire sauce, sugar, basil, and pepper into the pan. Heat on high heat.
Bring mixture to a boil and then put spaghetti in.
Put lid on the pan and simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir often.
When done, add shredded cheese and stir until it melts.
