Low Fat, Low Cholesterol Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 C. packed light brown sugar3/4 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup canola oil1 large egg2 large egg whites1 t. vanilla2 cups all-purpose flour1/4 c. whole wheat flour1 t. baking soda1 t. salt1 1/2 C. semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray 2 baking sheets with vegetable oil spray. (If using airbake or Teflon you don’t need to spray.) In the mixing bowl of an electric mixer set on medium-high speed,cream the sugars, oil, egg, egg whites and vanilla together until smooth. Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix on medium speed until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop the dough by 1/2 teaspoon amounts 1 inch apart on the sheets. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until lightly brown. Cool on wire racks. Repeat until all the dough is used.
