Debrose's English Muffin Bread

6 cups bread flour2 pkgs. instant dry yeast1 tablespoon sugar1/4 teaspoon baking soda2 cups milk1/2 cup water2 teaspoons saltcornmeal
Heat water and milk to 120-130 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda. Add warm liquid. Mix well until smooth. Continue to mix, adding remaining flour. Dough will be soft and sticky.
Spray 2 9 x 5 bread pans with spray, then dust with cornmeal. Divide dough in half between pans. Allow to rise until doubled, approximately 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 25 minutes until golden browned.
1/2 inch slices = 30 servings. I think that's a little big and will cut slices thinner next time.
