1 & 1/2 pounds of ground beef (73/27)1 - 16 oz can of Pork & Beans1 - 15 oz can of Dark Red Kidney Beans1 - 15 oz can of Light Red Kidney Beans1 - 14.5 oz can of Petite Diced Tomatoes1 - 15 oz can of Tomato Sauce3/4 cup of chopped onions1/2 cup chopped green sweet bell pepper1/2 cup chopped red sweet bell pepper3 Tbsp Chili Powder1 Tbsp of Red Pepper Flakes1/2 tsp of Ground Red Cayenne Pepper1 tsp Ground Black Pepper1 tsp Johnny's Seasoning Salt4 tsps unpacked Brown Sugar
On medium high heat, brown ground beef in large cooking pot. Drain off the fat. Add onions & peppers and cook until onions are translucent. Add spices, crushing in hand before dropping in pot, to release flavors. Add brown sugar, stirring good. Add your beans & tomatoes & tomato sauce. Make sure all ingredients have been added now. Reduce heat to medium & cook for about 1/2 hour.
