French Onion Soup

Onions, raw, 5 large - sliced lengthwise Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Swanson Beef Broth, 4 cup College Inn Beef Broth, 4 cup Red Wine, 8 fl oz 3 sprigs Thyme and 3 Bay leaves French Baguette, 10 oz - Sliced thin Jarlsberg Cheese, 10 oz - Shredded Gruyere Cheese, 8 oz - Shredded
Sweat onions in oil until translucent
Add wine and cook at very low heat for 1 hour
De-glaze pan with small amount of wine, add stock and herbs and cook 25 minutes
Spoon into oven proof crocks, top with slice of baguette and some cheese. Broil until lightly browned and bubbly.
