Introduction

a Quiche you can eat with your hands. a Quiche you can eat with your hands.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3/4 c egg substitute such as Egg Beaters.
    3/4 c shredded swiss cheese or any other shredded cheese.
    4 slices of bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled into small pieces.
    3/4 c Bird's Eye Peper Stir Fry defrosted and drained of excess water.
    2 tsp Tabasco sauce.
    1/2 tsp parsley flakes dried.
    a dash of salt and black pepper.





Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and use non stick spay to coat a 12 cupcake pan.In a bowl mix the egg substitue with the swiss cheese, (other types of shredded cheese can be substitued as well). Crumble cooked slices of bacon and add to cheese, egg mixture. Add the pepers and seasonings. With a tablespoon evenly distribute the mixture to the cupcake pan. bake for approximately 18minutes. or until golden and puffy.

    We took one bite and our eyes rolled into the backs of our heads as we savored every bite! These are delicious. They freeze great too. I too used fresh bell pepps and onions. Man....these are truly superb! Easy, tasty and just an overall INCREDIBLE recipe! THANK YOU! - 9/20/07

    I love these quiche! I used fresh onion and peppers instead. I have even made them without the bacon when I didn"t have it on hand and the quiche were still incredible. - 12/24/09

    I just made this and am eating them now! Delicious --- I used turkey bacon and fresh bell peppers, onions & mushrooms (sauteed the veggies a bit in the bacon leavings). Going to refrigerate the rest (and freeze some) for snacks or quick breakfasts later this week.
