1 1/2 cups cornmeal 2 1/2 cups milk or almond milk 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a large bowl (mixer) , whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Mix in the cornmeal , milk, eggs until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 - 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean.
