1/2 cup unsweetened Applesauce1 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup brown sugar1/4 tsp salt1 cup old fashioned rolled oats1/4 cup granulated sugar3/4 cup baking splenda1 cup whole wheat flour1 tbl vanilla extract1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1. Mix peanut butter, applesauce, and sugars/substitutes until creamy. Stir in vanilla. Beat in eggs. Mix in flour and then oats. Spread dough into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
2. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove pan from oven, and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes and spread. Cool, and cut into bars.
