Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies with White Beans

1 1/2 c dry Old Fashioned oatmeal2 c whole wheat flour1/2 t baking powder1/2 t baking soda1/4 t salt3/4 cup white beans cooked, reserve 2 T liquid3 T Earth Balance Buttery Spread1/2 c brown sugar2 servings or 1 T egg replacer prepared1 t vanilla1/2 c Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips1/2 c chopped walnuts
Heat oven to 350*. Place parchment paper on cookie sheets. Process oats in blender until firmly ground but not powder. Combine with flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside. Puree beans with 2 T of reserved liquid. Combine puree with butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add flour mixture with mixer on medium. Stir in chips and walnuts by hand. Drop by tablespoons. Bake 15-17 minutes until center is firm and edges are lightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
