Beef Stewed in Wine

Ingredients
1 lb Beef chuck, arm pot roast2c Red Wine,2c Leeks, chopped (bulb & greens) or 1c Onion2c Red Ripe Tomatoes, or one can w/ liquid1 can of Mushrooms, canned,5 cloves Garlic, 5 cloves1 tsp Olive Oil1/2tsp Chili Paste1 tsp green peppercorns1 tsp Salt1 tsp Black Pepper2 tbsp Worchestire Sauce1 tbsp of Flour for thickening
Directions
Cut the beef into cubes about 1 1/2" square. Mash Garlic with Salt. Marinate meat with Garlic, leeks or onion, Worchestire Sauce, Chili Paste, and pepper.Heat oil in a pan and when hot, braise the beef until brown.
Transfer everything to a Crockpot or turn heat way down. Add wine and tomatoes mushrooms 1 hour before serving, mix flour in a cup with a little of the broth then add to stew to thicken.
