German Potato Salad

4 cups sliced potatoes4 slices of bacon cooked crisp¾ cup chopped onion½ cup chopped celery3 Tbsp all-purpose flour1½ tsp salt¼ tsp black pepper1 tsp celery seed1 cup water¾ cup white vinegar2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Cook potatoes in water until tender. Drain and cool. Cook bacon until crisp, place on a paper towel to drain, and crumble. Cook and stir onions and celery in drippings until tender. Combine sugar, flour, salt, celery seeds, and pepper. Blend in water and vinegar. Stir into onion in skillet. heat until bubbly. Pour over combined sliced potatoes, bacon and eggs. Toss, Serve immediately.
